Cheryl Bourgault, PA-C

where it all started....

Cheryl spent her childhood in Minnesota and then moved to western Washington during high school.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology/Pre-Med from St. Martin's College in Lacey, WA in 1996.  She graduated from the prestigious Duke University Physician Assistant (PA) Program in 2001 with a Master's Degree in Health Science.  She worked as a PA in Washington State until moving to Eugene in 2010 and joining Dr. Baird and her practice.

She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Oregon Medical Board to practice medicine.  She is a member of the following professional organizations:

  • American Academy of Physician Assistants

  • Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants

  • Oregon Dermatology Society

  • Oregon Society of Physician Assistants

  • Oregon Medical Association

  • Willamette Dermatology Society

Cheryl thoroughly enjoys working in dermatology.  She loves that she can make such a difference in patients' lives -whether it be in a small way by helping a patient get rid of an annoying itchy rash to more dramatic ways by helping clear psoriasis or removing skin cancers. She particularly enjoys skin surgery.

Cheryl lives in Eugene, is married, and has four spoiled furry children - two Pembroke Welsh Corgis and two cats.

She likes to spend her spare time creating - including fused glass, jewelry, silk painting, sewing, baking, and gardening.

She also enjoys hiking and exploring Eugene and the beauty of Oregon with her husband and two dogs
