Dr. Baird is pleased to announce her new associate, Ms.
Cheryl Bourgault, MHS, PA-C. She is a Certified Physician
Assistant (PA). Physician Assistants are medical providers
formally trained to practice medicine with physician
supervision.
Ms. Bourgault has a Master of Health Science, in Physician
Assistant Studies from Duke University. Before beginning her
education as a PA, she received an undergraduate degree in
Biology from St. Martin’s College. She has been a practicing
PA for more than eight years.
Physician assistants have been practicing with dermatologists
for twenty years, providing a wide variety of services, including
diagnosing illness, writing prescriptions, ordering and
interpreting lab tests, wound suturing, and medical or surgical
treatment of a wide variety of diseases.

attended the University of Hawaii, graduating
in 1990 with her medical degree. She did a
one year internship at OHSU in Portland,
Oregon. Dr. Baird completed a three year
residency in Dermatology at the University of
Pittsburgh from 1991-1994. She is Board
Certified in Dermatology.
Dr. Baird has been in Eugene since 1994. She
has been in private practice since 2004, after
ten years with Peace Health Medical Group.
She is a member of the:
